Helping Hands for the Holidays GIVE AWAY 2018

Do you know someone who is struggling physically this year and could use some help bringing holiday cheer into their home?

Boxes of decorations can be heavy...for someone exhausted from chemo, recovering from a surgery, or struggling on elderly knees to navigate basement stairs it can make bringing out some of their cherished traditions difficult. I absolutely love decorating for Christmas, and it would be an honor to help out someone else in our community this season. 

Nominate or tag someone deserving who could use a pair of Helping Hands this holiday! I’ll come to them for three hours to help with whatever they need most…they can sit on the sofa and tell me where they’d like all those special decorations to go, get help bringing out boxes, decorating, or even baking up a batch of their favorite holiday treat.

Growing up my Grandma always made the biggest, most wonderful fuss over Christmas (well, every holiday for that matter)...you couldn't hardly see the tree for all the decorations, each with a special memory attached, and you couldn't sit on the sofa for all the millions of Christmas pillows, but it made everyone smile. As my grandparents aged it became harder and harder for them to physically continue the traditions they had cultivated over the decades and which brought them joy. Having loving family around to help them continue those traditions, from decorating to baking to helping address Christmas cards, was a blessing. I'd like to give that same sort of holiday gift to someone deserving in our Highlands Ranch/Littleton community!
